Product Introduction
Color-coated steel coils use cold-rolled steel coils, galvanized steel coils or galvanized steel coils as substrates. After surface pretreatment (cleaning, chemical conversion), one or more layers of organic coatings (such as polyester, fluorocarbon, silicon-modified polyester, etc.) are applied on the surface through a continuous coating process, and then baked and cured to form a composite material with color and functionality. Its core value combines the strength of steel with the corrosion resistance and decorativeness of the coating, and is widely used in the fields of construction, home appliances, etc.
Common specifications
Substrate thickness: 0.2mm~1.5mm (common 0.4mm~1.0mm).
Coating structure: two coats and two bakes (primer + topcoat), three coats and three bakes (primer + topcoat + backcoat).
Coating thickness: 15~35μm on one side (topcoat), total coating 20~200μm (depending on demand).
Roll size:
Width: 600mm~1500mm.
Roll weight: 3~15 tons/roll, inner diameter 508mm or 610mm.

Weather resistance:
Ordinary polyester (PE): 5~8 years color retention (general industrial environment).
Silicon modified polyester (SMP): 10~15 years.

Corrosion resistance: The coating isolates water vapor and chemicals to protect the substrate from rust.
